A health guarantee is included with every Chow Chow puppy you buy from us. You must take your new puppy to a licensed veterinarian for an examination within ten days of buying him or her. You can get in touch with us if, within ten days of the purchase, the veterinarian concludes that your dog is clinically unwell or has passed away from an illness or injury that was most likely contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery.
At the time of adoption, our puppies are 100% guaranteed to be healthy, free of infectious or communicable diseases, and free of any indications of infection. We are proud that when you take a puppy home from us, our relationship with you continues. Given our background as breeders, seasoned puppy counselors, and ardent Chow Chow enthusiasts, we would like to think that nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies. But there are some things we can never control.
Numerous factors, including genetics, activity, diet and nutrition, and general care, affect a puppy’s health. We promise to try our best to make sure your new family member is healthy, even if we might not be able to guarantee that your puppy will never experience any health issues!
Numerous factors, including genetics, activity, diet and nutrition, and general care, affect a puppy’s health. Although we can’t promise that your puppy won’t ever have a replacement, we do think that occasionally the grief can be mitigated by having another animal companion around.
In the unlikely event that your puppy dies within a year of its birth from genetic causes, or if it is discovered that it has congenital or hereditary conditions that negatively impact its health within that year, we will replace it with a puppy of comparable value at no additional expense to you. A certified veterinarian should certify the cause of death.
health issue, we promise to do everything in our power to keep your new family member healthy!
Knowing that we were successful in bringing a happy, healthy puppy into your home makes us happier than anything else. To keep your dog healthy, we do ask for your assistance. Here are some actions that will be beneficial:
After your puppy is delivered, you have four business days to send us a copy of the examination (medical record). A licensed veterinarian must do the examination. Keep in mind that your puppy will come with current, age-appropriate immunizations, so avoid giving them any shots during the first 10 days of their birth.
We would prefer you to continue proper deworming and regular examinations till your puppy is 16 weeks old or older (or as advised by your veterinarian) while we vaccinate and deworm it until the departure date.
We are unable to guarantee your new puppy’s temperament, conformation, height, weight, color, markings, or capacity to breed. Breeds considered to be susceptible to hip dysplasia will not be replaced if they are overweight. This warranty will be nullified if your puppy does not receive timely vaccinations or routine veterinarian treatment. The costs of spaying or neutering, including undescended testes, are not covered by this assurance.
All of our puppies must pass a thorough health examination before they are sent home with you. Our veterinarian conducts this examination in order to complete our Veterinary Health Report. A certified veterinarian prepared this report for us, which looks at each puppy’s health in the following areas: cardiovascular, skin, coat, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, musculoskeletal, respiratory, ear, urogenital, and gastrointestinal.
To ensure that your puppy’s health evaluation is current, we need this report completed close to the day your puppy is sent home to you. After that, our veterinarian reviews this report internally to look for any problems or concerns. Additionally, within four days of obtaining the puppy, you must have it inspected by a certified veterinarian.
